Who We AreOur concrete restoration group has a wide variety of personalities with different expertise, training, and experience that allow us to draw on a dynamic group to solve problems and create solutions wherever and whenever they are needed. Combined, we have over 130 years of experience working with concrete, shotcrete and restoration.
We have four ACI certified nozzleman for both vertical and overhead processes. Neil is one of two ACI accredited shotcrete instructors & examiners in Western Canada, which allows us to be on the cutting edge of what is coming up with requirements for certified shotcrete nozzleman.

Neil McAskillNeil has over 40 years of experience specializing in assessment, repair and construction of concrete and shotcrete structures. He has been involved with the research and development of shotcrete materials and application techniques as well as crew training and materials assessment. He is well versed in the evaluation of all types of deteriorated concrete structures and preparation of specifications for new construction, as well as repair of existing structures. He is well known for innovative solutions to difficult concrete problems.
Neil also has considerable experience in underwater concrete and grout placement. He is an ACI accredited shotcrete instructor / examiner & certified nozzleman for both vertical and overhead applications.
Curtis SyrnykCurtis has over 22 years of experience in Project Management and Project Coordination. For the past five years Curtis has been project manager of the construction group with an emphasis placed on site supervision, providing hands on expertise at all times.
It is a priority for Curtis to be on or ahead of schedule and come in on budget. He is a materials specialist in the area of concrete technology. He is an ACI certified nozzleman for both vertical and overhead applications.
Matt JensenMatt has been a site foreman with Metro since the beginning of the construction group, 5 years ago. His hands on experience of what is needed on the job allows him to not only direct the workers under him, but also be on top of the materials needed for each specific aspect the job requires.
Matt has mobilized and run a number of smaller jobs, and looks to gain an ability to grow further in the area of site management.
Roland Heere P. Eng.Roland Heere has over 15 years experience in civil engineering in Europe and Canada. He is a registered professional engineer in B.C. and Saskatchewan. He has extensive experience with load testing of structural elements, anchors and dowels. He is a materials specialist in the fields of shotcrete and concrete technology; and thus familiar with shotcrete and concrete properties, applications and trouble shooting. His wide-ranging knowledge of both practical and technical applications allows him to competently deal with many issues and problems arising on construction sites, in laboratories and during the design of projects and materials.
Roland is an ACI certified nozzleman for both vertical and overhead applications.
Andrew Wu P. Eng.Andrew Wu is a registered professional engineer with APEGBC. The combination of his hands-on experience in the repair methods for concrete structures and background in materials testing, has been beneficial as he takes on quality control, project management and engineering responsibilities in various projects.
The combination of technical and practical knowledge he brings to the concrete repair process makes Andrew a valuable asset to our concrete restoration team.
Rebecca McAskillAlthough Rebecca is new to the concrete restoration world she is no stranger to the demand of dealing with details in a busy office. As the main contact in the office her duties include accounts payable, payroll, invoicing, organizing the materials needed for different sites and business development.
Rebecca's attention to detail allows for the smooth transfer of information throughout the span of a job; from what is needed to put a bid together, to the final demobilizing of a project.
